Restaurant POS software built for the pace of service

Restaurant POS software is the system your team uses to take orders, send them to the kitchen, and take payment. Restovax runs in a web browser on a phone, tablet or laptop, so a new till is a device you already own rather than a hardware purchase. Orders entered at the table reach the kitchen immediately, bills split by seat or item, and a single payment can be settled across cash, card, bank transfer and mobile money.

The problem this solves

On a busy service, the POS is either helping or getting in the way. Walking to a fixed terminal to key in an order, re-reading a handwritten ticket in the kitchen, and working out a split bill on paper all cost minutes you do not have — and each step is a place an order gets lost or charged wrong.

What Restovax does here

  • Order entry at the table or counter on any device, with modifiers, courses and notes
  • Orders fire to the Kitchen Display System or a printed kitchen ticket the moment they are placed
  • Split a bill by seat or by item, merge tables, apply discounts, and void with a reason
  • Take one bill across several payment methods — cash, card, transfer, mobile money
  • Printed or on-screen receipts, with the receipt printing automatically once payment is complete

How it works

  1. 1

Open the table or start a counter order

A server picks the table from the floor plan or starts a quick counter sale.

  2. 2

    Add items

Items, modifiers and course timing are entered at the table. The order is saved as it is built, so nothing is lost if the device sleeps.

  3. 3

    Fire to the kitchen

Sending the order routes each item to the right station on the KDS or as a printed ticket. Appended items print as a separate run, not a reprint of the whole order.

  4. 4

    Settle the bill

Split by seat or item if needed, take payment across one or more methods, and the receipt prints automatically.

What changes for the business

Fewer re-keyed and misread orders, because the order is entered once, at the table

Faster table turns during peak service

Every sale, void and discount is recorded against a named staff member
